About the private Cooking class

In an old farmhouse on the hills of Sorrento, you will embody the spirit of local culinary tradition, learning the secrets and techniques of our typical dishes. All in an exclusive setting just for you! We’ll gather vegetables from the garden and prepare an appetizer, a fresh pasta first course and a dessert in an old country kitchen. Finally, you’ll savor everything on a terrace overlooking the Gulf of our beloved Sorrento.

Meeting point

We will meet in Sorrento, at Via Fuorimura, 3 (next to Hotel Plaza) 15 minutes before the start of the lesson, and we will reach the facility together.

Cooking class

After washing our hands, we will immerse ourselves in the fantastic culinary world of Sorrento, preparing an appetizer, fresh pasta, and dessert.

Lunch

Once the cooking course is completed, you can savor your creations on the terrace overlooking the Gulf of Naples.

Return

At the end of the lunch, you will be escorted back to the meeting point.

  An absolutely unforgettable experience. We had the opportunity to step into a beautiful Italian family home that’s been in their family for over 300 years, and it truly felt like being welcomed as part of that family.

We learned how to make fresh pasta, limoncello, and tiramisu from scratch, all while surrounded by incredible hospitality, warmth, and authenticity. This wasn’t just a cooking class—it was a cultural experience that gave us a real connection to Italy.

  This cooking class and the time we spent with Martina and her family were the highlight of our time in Sorrento! We had 8 people participate in the class: 4 from my family and 4 from my friend’s family. Our day started by meeting Martina at the plaza hotel in Sorrento where she drove 4 of us and her father drove the other 4 to their home. We made tiramisu, a pasta that was long flat pasta with a tomato sauce (can’t remember what it was called), and ravioli. In our group we had 4 adults and 4 children ages 8, 10, 11, & 13. Martina was friendly and engaging. Everyone participated and had a wonderful time! If you’re looking for a cooking class in Sorrento, look no further! You will be so happy you did this!!!

  This class was the highlight of my trip to Italy. It was also the best food we ate on the entire trip. It’s on the most gorgeous family farm where they also live, so it’s a true local experience. Martina made the class so fun and hands on, and even took photos for everyone. I loved the small group and enjoying our meal with the gorgeous view. I would do the same class again if I am back!

  What a unique and special evening! This private cooking class is set on a farm over 100 years old. With four generations of cooking experience, the class was unforgettable! Gennaro’s instructions and patience made the class so much fun! Their sweet Nonna made the ravioli filling and set the table with fresh flowers and lemons. Martina picked us up and joined us towards the end of the class. Her vision of having a cooking experience that is personal has truly come to life! Learning to cook in the same kitchen generations of their family have learned to cook is really special. Definitely a must do when visiting Sorrento!
I cannot recommend this class more!
